Hello, my name is Mike Smith and I built this website, MatShots, as a way to promote wrestling, wrestling athletes, and their efforts.

 As a SD State editor, I have had numerous photos published in WrestlingUSA, along with four cover photos. My photos have also been used in Sports Illustrated, many local papers and on several SD wrestling programs. All the website work is done by ourselves. Nothing fancy, just quality action photos.

I provide numerous local papers and magazines with sports images to highlight local, state and national sporting events.

One of the most enjoyable things to come out of MatShots has been the chance to get to know the athletes and their families.

With over 18 years of sports photography experience, I strive to catch the action and emotion of the event I am covering.

By using the latest Canon digital equipment you are insured to receive a print that is of the highest quality.
